Track record
Is your track record audited by a firm an institutional allocator would recognize?
Does the audited period cover the full life of the strategy, without gaps?
Do you have monthly performance compiled and current through last month?
Is your own capital invested in the strategy alongside clients?
Investor materials
Do you have a presentation you would send to an allocator today without editing it first?
Do you have a completed firm DDQ you could send within 24 hours of a request?
Do you have a one-page tear sheet that works when it is forwarded without you in the room?
Does your website explain what the strategy is and why the edge persists?
Operational infrastructure
Do you use an independent third-party administrator?
Do you have a written cybersecurity policy?
Do you have a written compliance manual adopted by the firm?
Are your service providers named in your materials?
Positioning & scrutiny
Can you explain the strategy in two sentences to someone who is not technical?
Does your first meeting slide say what you do — rather than how you do it?
Do you know why your last three “no”s were no?
Have you been through an ODD review by an institutional allocator?

Send these gaps to me
Your answers stay in this browser. Nothing is submitted, stored, or sent anywhere. The button opens an email in your own client listing only the gaps — you decide whether to send it.
What happens with the answers
Nothing. There is no account, no form, and no tracking on this page — your answers live in your browser and disappear when you close the tab. If the gap list is useful, send it to me and we'll talk about the two or three that matter most. If it isn't, you have a checklist and you owe me nothing.
